As a member of the Detroit techno band STRAND with releases on revered labels such as

Frictional, React, Tresor, Puzzlebox, Mojuba, Delsin and as a DJ, B. Bonds has been a guiding

presence on the Detroit DJ scene for many years. With a genre bending aesthetic and a

commitment to the genuine purpose of the DJ. After being introduced to the art of mixing two

records in the early ‘80s by Eddie Fowlkes and playing many Detroit basement and backyard

parties, B. Bonds earned his first residency in Windsor, Ontario at Stanley’s in 1988. Glasgow,

Dublin, Munich, Amsterdam, and Bologna are some of the places he’s played . With an ear for

the future B. Bonds always keeps it funky.
